Indian Phookat League

26 Mar

Went to the Bhangra dance also known as the IPL yesterday….full cheerleaders, DJs, VJs..and all the J’s…and yes some cricket.

First time for a T20….Next time I’ll watch it on TV.

Printed value on ticket was Rs. 44,000…seriously I dont think anyone buys this stuff..everyone there was probably like me..a free ride..

I asked several people whether they actually bought the ticket for this price and it was denied by all.

So boring to watch cricket from the “Executive Lounge”. Theres free food and booze and no one cares whos winning…and everyone wants to get on TV with the celebrity crowd…
Give me my gallery crowd anytime…but I’ll take the champagne…hic

Similar story here at the football stadium. Much more fun to be in the nose-bleed section than up in the catered section :-).

44k appears to be the dlf maximum price per ticket. what does dlf sell anyway? 😉

i miss those redskin cheerleaders – well, to be honest, the one from florida who blogged last year from south africa. she used to bring a totally fresh outlook to the table, that of someone who knew nothing about the game but was (or least, appeared to be) getting into it (like my son, except he is not old enough to blog about his experience!).

whabbou photos from the ground? those photos would serve as better proofs that you were actually there than a ticket stub or two ;-).

    p.s.: kumble is da man!

oh ! Which currency is this ticket in?
If given a choice between this ticket and an LCD tv,(free ofcourse) I would choose the LCD to watch some good movies.
    I dont watch IPL anyway ! 😀
