The Fat Lady has sung

26 May

Walked outside Mannina Maga (Mud Son) Deve Gowda’s house… very very quiet except for a few TV vans. I overheard one reporter talking on the phone “Arre yaar theres no action here. We should get going”.

Kumaraswamy’s comments “Awl you media peepals are saying that we are pinissed.. we also will naaat shake hands with Congress or BJP. They have telled that we are untouchable”… I have no idea what he was talking about.

The Congress… well the usual… The first family can do no wrong.. its local politics… the usual excuses. The classiest was S.M. Krishna who conceeded by saying the BJP had run a better campaign.

Dont count old man gowda out though. He probably has a trick or two up his sleeve.

Here are some pictures:

    vijay:

“mannina maga” should properly translate to ‘son of the soil’, right?

in this case “oiled/soiled/spoiled son” is probably more appropriate. 🙂

hahaha…. yeah, i’m sure the mud-boy has a lot of tricks up his sleeve! Just like the filmy drama he orchestrated with his son! Next, he’ll probably divorce his wife and then get back with her… or something… he’s a moron! 😀

they are down by leaps and bounds and you can not predict what is under carpet. but for the time being looks like Yediurappa will get some support from minimum independents who will have their say and start functioning only time should tell whether this will be full term. I dont know whether there is likely split happening in JD(S) after seeing their plight some may do that also pull out 1/3 to join the govt., congrees seeing their no. are now quiet they can not do much with this. let us hope good senses will prevail on people and we will have a good governance by the new govt.,

I was just remembering few last episodes of mukta..

The way the main party fellows were behind those independent candidates to form their govt and the two parties pulling the independent guy to change his mind everytime he decides to join the other.

I am glad that atlast we will have a single party rule..

Gowda’s family are looking out for something which they can blame upon the govt yet to be formed. but ya they are sheeplessly out!
