Another one let loose

15 Apr

Looks like our judiciary is making a habit of this.

Alistair Pereira the guy who ran over and killed 7 labourers is now serving a pittance of a jail sentence. The judge said that the police “botched” up the investigation. Hence the reduced punishment.

Does something smell fishy here?

That works out to be less than a month sentence for each murder. Happy country, life is good.

It is utterly disgusting. A Police which can easily be compromised, a Justice system which is sitting over heap of piled up cases and a man is given just 6 months for killing 7 monhts

    Justice Compromised

I remember the movie INDIAN – the tamil version where Kamal kills his own corrupt son. Think he needs to come down in reality to tackle these kinds of issues.

Big ‘fishes’ never get any kind of punishment. Watch kannada movie ‘Accident’.

It stinks! The verdict, that is… Come to think of it, isn’t this an all-too-familiar situation? Whenever and wherever the high and mighty are involved in crimes, they’re let off the hook with little or no punishment.

I was thinking of the movie Accident (review on my blog) when I read this post. But where the Police and Judicial system failed to bring the errant, guilty man to book in the film, he was dealt a cruel blow by the Divine Hand. I don’t see the remotest possibility of that happening in real life.

You haven’t heard the half of it! Read this…
To quote, he says – “I will have to go in for six months, all thanks to the media.”

    This renders one truly speechless!
