Ugadi Greetings I dont need

19 Mar

Driving around I see posters and banners from every two bit corporator, councilor, MLA and MP wishing people a happy Ugadi. Some of these even have strobe lights around them. As if thats not enough, their villanous pictures stare out of these posters.

Thats all I need. Getting wished by goons.

Oh ya. Guess who pays for this. Its the very people these guys are wishing. All the bills for these are footed by the small business owners who have to contribute to the “collection”.

A very nice and timely post vijay.

Yes, the money comes from general public collected for ganesha, shiva, krishna etc festivals. Most of these war lords amass money by being in real estate ( how real is the dealings?). These wish posters are their future investments.

The most funniest was for the father mother pair seeking blessings for devegowda and chennamma !!! This by some unknown idiot who was planning to become some youth leader and swindle public money.

Doesnt BMP stop these jokers? Dont they have levies for these nonsence and most important of all – arent the vanishing act of these horadings and their owners a true gift for the holiday?

Only poor printer if he gets money for his work it is fine
these people are capable of giving hand to them also
collect and dont part attitude also may be there
and some people think they have to do what they are asked
let the man get his money for the work he has done
Now a days with digital prints this has increased and
    competition between political parties/politicians/local leaders
so many photos in one posters big small etc. etc., it is for all
occasions hindu muslim christian etc., etc.,
BBMP take lead in putting some hefty amount for placing such
hoardings and let all pay and use the space

What *pissed* me was humongous “Happy Birthday” posters for a BJP minister, combined with some festivity greetings , IN A TEMPLE!
I recently visited Bangalore and went to my favourite temple in Banashankari II stage, and was shocked to see baners promoting this scoundrel of a minister, in this temple!
Shame on you, BJP, so called guardian of all things Hindu. Shame on you, and I seriously hope the minister’s birthday is so messed up he wouldn’t wish for the next one!
