CM Says – “Stay in your Office”

26 Feb

Our CM has come up with another ‘gem’ of a suggestion (as reported in Vijay Times last week). He now wants industry to provide housing to employees in order to reduce traffic congestion.

Shouldn’t he be looking at improving infrastructure and public transport instead?

What he is suggesting seems to be going back to the commune living of Russia and China (he used China as a role model).

Does he have anyone who advises him on this or are all these great thoughts his own?

Heres a better suggestion. Why dont we try his experiment on the government first? Lets see if it works there. While we are at it, why don’t we reduce the cars in our ministers’ entourage. Usually there are 3 cars in front, and 3 cars behind !!

Vijay, you have started off with the cars! Thats a good one. They will get away by saying G level security etc.

This idea is a non starter unless there is a corporation set up by a private colgumarate of companies and a portion of rent is deducted from their salaries despite shifting companies.

Why would I leave my house which i have lived for last 30 odd years to move to attebele or krishnarajapura just because its 2 minutes to my office?

At the rate the CM is getting these ideas, he can start a blog and we can all comment. Hope somebody gives him THAT idea.

Mohan: The same thought occured to me.. why would I move??? When D.G was the PM he insisted on coming to his house on P’nagar often.. this resulted in traffic copy holding up traffic in Bsk 2nd stage… we were glad when he stopped being PM.

It is true the traffic are gets disrupted whenever an VIP Or VVIP comes on road. I was told this is only in India. If so it is very bad and we need to come out of this royan syndrome.
Definitely CM has got some advisors who must be socialists and they all only preach and never practice. Their suggestion will never be implemented because it is not practicable.
Yes I agree vijay he must really concentrate on improvements in the infrastructure which can really solve the prblmes and the infrastructure needs are to be addressed always with a very good forecast and should take care of i decade ahead. it never happens here. Now Feb march you see so many works being done by corporation etc. why the in budget allocations are there they go waste!!!! kickbacks will not be there if work order is not issued so everything in a hurry and beneficiaries are politicians,
bureacracy and contractor all have and nothing will reach common man
