The glass half full…

5 Feb

Lately, this blog has had too much talk of venal politicians, depraved criminals, corrupt bureaucrats and scheming policemen. And it’s not just here. Everywhere you look, we only seem to get news of the scum of the earth.

It’s time to look at the other side.

Time to remember the few, the select few who inspire and thrill us with their feats. They are living proof of the strength and nobility of the human spirit. They are super men, larger than life. Some are legends in their own lifetimes. Others are not. Whoever they are, let’s take the time to think about and be inspired by our personal heroes.

“When I feel the powerful visions
Their fire has made alive
I wish I had that instinct
I wish I had that drive”
–Neil Peart

Hmm… Difference of opinion poles apart.

Tend to agree with vijays view that 80%++ is negetive but there is still that miscule 20% possibility or scope for improvement.

The million dollor ( or is it a billion) question is who will bell this jaggurnaut? All of us know the ills and wells of the animal.

Aditya a good one food for thought for all. even then it is essential all things are discussed good bad and ugly. agreed we should not restict only to ugly (policitics, criminals etc.,) but also should talk about bad and good also.

Timenow channel aired a nice program on sunday. It was interviwing Prakash Rai (Not sure about the program name, it was similar to Walk that Talk). He talks brilliant & I liked the way he was addressing the Q’s fired.
One of his answers reminded me about this half glass full thing.. The Question was, Are you unhappy because the quality of movies in South are better than bollywood but still the bollywood movies are made a big pompus though they may not be high at quality.
    His answer was thing,
There are two ways of disagreement, one by getting angry & other by getting frustrated.
Angry makes you do something & take some action. Frustration just leave you there stand & comment! I think I am just angry but optimist!!

Well, that was a good post by Aditya… Was much needed in fact.
I am sure we will soon have one more after 2 pm!

I totally agree with Aditya. We should look at the other side too. The world is not a totally bad place. There are plenty of generous, kind hearted and wonderful people in the world.
