Shankranthi Sights – Gandhi Bazaar

15 Jan

I love walking in Gandhi Bazaar. Even more so during the festival season. In all the madness of the “new world”, it still manages to retain the “Old World” charm.

The whole place was alive with action last Sunday on account of Shankranthi. Here are some sights.

    Nice one…
    Yesterday I was doing some last minute shopping. Saw a very nice thing, a small Muslim boy(with that topi) holding two kabbina jalle & sitting next to the kabbu, he must be the vendor’s son! I wanted to click the photo but had left my cell in the car.
    Missed it 🙂
    One more thing, yesterday I noticed a signboad(parking related) which says, ‘To the handicapped persons only’.. This is too good, I never thought there is one such board like ‘No parking’, ‘Car Parking’ etc.,! May be inspired by Vijay’s post .. 🙂
    Vijay, did you get that blog meeting agenda & details?
    Murali partha avarigu invitation ide

    HH Partha ? Am I missing something here.. HH andrenu ? enu acronym gaLappa nimmadella ?
    Murali ji, thanks for the acknowledgment & your time.

  10. Vijay January 16, 2007 at 11:31 am #

    HH = His Highness

  11. Murali Partha January 16, 2007 at 11:47 am #

    So long as it is not His Holiness I am OK 🙂

  12. Veena Shivanna January 16, 2007 at 12:47 pm #

    His Holiness is for the Murali in the name Murali Partha. Vijay is poised, he doesn’t want to pronouce krishna’s part of name in your full name(complete name or what ever). so may be he has substituded HH to the Murali 🙂

    Anyway, nobody can beat you guys up(down?) when it comes to communication skills, managerial, sales, ad skills entirely rely more the C skills.
