Flying out to New Delhi this morning for what could be the last time from the current airport. . . Will post pictures later. Place looks like its winding down.

Yaay! So I will actually fly into the new airport! Looks like my parents will travel ALMOST as much as me, heh heh heh! They have to come in from Mysore. Anyway, we are all excited to see the new one and hope it is as efficiient as they claim it to be. Congratulatons to all who worked on the airport.

one day postponed so it will be 00.00 hrs on 23rd night or 24th day start. have wonderful time if you are landing on 24th or later otherwise u will be landing in the old airport

@pranesh: You are right we landed in the old one… I was looking forward to land in the new one…
@My3: Yes.. it will take them 2 hours from Mys to Blr and then 2 from Blr to the Airport…

finally it happened and virtually the airport was inagurated on 23rd may 2008 as the first flight landed at 10.20 pm or so. first light to take off was to singapore the same airindia flight which landed at 10.20 took with a different crew at 12.05
so first landing was on 23rd and first take off was on 24th
