Blogging on my mobile here. Lots of action this morning. I have flown in and out of Bangalore countless times and this happens on my final visit.
Had a narrow escape when a bird hit caused the pilot to abort takeoff at the last instant. Finally made it to Delhi 3 hours behind schedule.

Fly safe Vijay, and think of all your bloggercommentators while you munch on your next Vidyarthi Bhavan dose with Little Nikhil.

Vijay : Whew ! what a thing to happen! Its strange, these things happen so very often and we read them in newspapers all the time, but when it actually happens to someone we even remotely know , it just shakes us up.
So you are in Delhi. You are lucky, it has been pouring since a couple of days and you would have noticed, it was a very pleasant day today – so unusual at this time of the year.
I cant imagine commuting from Devanahalli to BTM next time I’m there. taking the Rajdhani maybe a better idea

Got an email from our transport team about the new airport and the other details.
Read an excerpt from the email
————————————————————–
VAYU VAJRA & SUVARNA Services will run 156 buses, including 40 Volvos, round the clock from key areas of Bangalore at the frequency of 15 mins including 20 buses from Electronic City. BMTC has tied up with CelCabs (080- 6060 9090) and SGL Tours and Travels (080- 4299 2399) as part of its Home connect program for the first-mile connectivity. By using this service the passenger can avail a reduction on BMTC bus fare.
The BMTC pickup & drop points at Airport are very close to the Arrival/Departure lounge (200 feet away)
Looks very promising though, as you said “On Paper” .. I just think about bangalore traffic and I go crazy!
