Balu fired the initial salvo. WordPress has gone and changed the user interfaces. For simple folk like me, its takes a while to get used to. Plus features like putting images onto posts dont seem to be working.
As Balu says why couldnt they have let people use both interfaces till the new one stabilizes.
Grrrrr… maybe time to move to Blogspot?

They’ve reinvented the wheel, Vijay. They’ve gone and fixed something that didn’t need fixing. And the worst thing is they’ve made the image loading a lot more complicated. Sure it’s sort-of faster to upload and you can upload multiple images at once, but there are too many steps involved now and positioning them where you want them is now a bit of guesswork. Bloody “geniuses”! Just as well it’s free, eh?

Hey are you still facing the image inserting problem?

@Xylene: Theres a roundabout way to do the insertion… first upload the image.. go to the tab that says “Media Library” select your image and insert into the post…

I did it in another way. I first uploaded it, copied the link to the image, went back to the post. Clicked on insert/edit image( right next to the unlink icon), pasted the url and clicked insert !!

I am just hoping they fix the bugs fast (May be they should take help from Microsoft.. they are experienced in churning out with ‘bugged up’ softwares!

Try windows Live Writer for blog posts, it has been very convenient for me including inserting pictures in blog posts

I so have the same image problems
Thank heavens I have a mac at home, all I got to do is drag a picture into the post and write. But then again, that poses another problem – mood to blog or the thoughts flow only at work.

WordPress 2.5 may have some problems with image uploading and inserting, but it soon gonna be fixed / might have already fixed. But blogspot sucks. Trust me I used both.. WordPress is best!
