My brother lives in Bangalore and attends all functions. He takes pictures of relatives that visit the function and just 1-2 of the main people. Even for my son;s upanayana, we had the photographer concentrate on the relatives and friends. My father;s uncle passed away soon after that. We have all the memories and the children now remember him through the pictures. Very sad to read your post as well as the comments that follow.
